Worth the money! Purchased for Alaska Trip & working outdoors.
Short Summary:Worth the money! Purchased for a trip to Alaska & for working extended hours outdoors in subpar conditions. Yes, they are pricier than others. HOWEVER, the saying âyou get what you pay forâ is positively true!Detailed Summary:Purchased a set for my mother to wear in Alaska on her cruise & excursions. For transparency at first she was rather skeptical but after wearing them sheâs never wearing anything else! As soon as she could she excitedly sent me a message with the BIGGEST THANK YOU ever for my husband recommending them & me purchasing them for her. She said others were complaining about freezing yet sheâs never been so comfortably warm outside in cold weather! My husband (who is hot natured) purchased a set last winter when he was stuck outside at work for extended hours on end in subpar weather. He couldnât say enough good things about how comfortable & warm they kept him.He was able to comfortably layer them underneath his work clothes and I n no way did they restrict or prohibit any movement nor cause him to sweat when he was working intensely setting & cleaning up trench pumps, boxes, wading through mud with LDH, etc.(For reference heâs 5â12â, 300# & purchased size: 2XL. He wears 3XL shirts & 44 x 32 jeans)Both my mother & husband said they fit more snugly than they were use to how other brands fit. However, thatâs how these are intended to fit. Neither of them like clothing to fit tightly⦠until they wore these & only these! (Itâs only my assumption that if your deciding factor on whether or not to purchase them is due to wanting a looser fit that you could, obviously, order up from your normal size. However, in my opinion, I think thatâs slightly defeating their purposefully intended design.)Hope this has helped with any decision making information you were looking for!

Underarmour
Very snug. Sizes run small so order the next size larger than what you wear.

Quality warmth
Put this on and canât believe how warm I instantly feel. Good quality and well worth the price. I got this and the shirt for a concert at red rocks this weekend where temps will be lower but I want to be warm and comfy. Honestly will put these to use this winter. They are plenty comfy to wear around the house! Iâm 5â3 pear shape 150 pounds and got medium. If you are sensitive to elastic bands maybe size up otherwise it fits me perfect !!

The BEST baselayer
I love my 4.0âs!!! Spent a little more for them yet itâs already paid off in comfort & warmth.Iâve been able to throw my jeans on over them & shovel snow for over an hour without feeling the need to go warm up.4.0 is the way to GO!!!

Almost 5 stars.
I’ve been wearing UA cold gear compression shirts for over 10 years. I decided to try the 4.0 leggings to see if they worked as well as the shirts. Unfortunately, they do not! They are warm in cold weather, just not in extremely cold temps. I had to wear a second pair of thinner leggings to keep the cold away when the temps dipped down to the low teens. Other than that, they are soft and comfortable, true to my size, (LG, 5’7-180) they don’t bunch, slip or sag, and are warm in the 30° to 40°f range. Another con, they are expensive!

Worth the price
The quality is very good, and it actually helps keep you warm in the winter. I always wore these under my jeans while working in the cold, while in Colorado. They are not transparent. They are more of an fitted piece of clothing.
